"2- days Workshop on Menstrual Health Management"
We conducted 2 days workshop with 24 students of class 9, aged 14-16 years of Shree Dhapasi Secondary School, Basundhara on June 24-26, 2016.
The workshop brought girls and boys together to discuss about bodily changes during adolescence, cause, complication and management of menstrual health using youth friendly interactive and fun filled methodology. For several participants, it was their first exposure to these type of funfilled method of learning, while for some it was the first time they were talking about menstrual health in an open group.
As a follow up, the students will now conduct similar session with their juniors at school and organize intergenerational dialogues with their school authorities.
